Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kleo (kleoapp.io), an AI-powered social media scheduling platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Service Description
Kleo is a social media management platform that lets you create, schedule, and publish posts across multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Threads, and Bluesky. The service includes AI-powered content generation, post scheduling, brand voice management, and team collaboration features.
Account Responsibility
When you create a Kleo account, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure and not sharing it with others
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may not create accounts for the purpose of violating these terms or the terms of any connected social media platform.
Payment Terms
Kleo offers the following subscription plans:
- Admin seat: $49 per month, billed monthly via Stripe
- Additional team seats: $29 per month per seat, billed monthly via Stripe
All payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation: you can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your service continues until the end of your current billing period. There are no prorated refunds for partial months. After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded and you will lose access to paid features.
Price changes: we may change our pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Kleo to:
- Send spam: do not use Kleo to send unsolicited bulk messages, engage in automated mass following/unfollowing, or any behavior that violates platform spam policies
- Post illegal content: do not create, schedule, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or violates the rights of others
- Abuse AI generation limits: do not attempt to circumvent the daily AI generation limits through multiple accounts, scripted requests, or other means
- Scrape the platform: do not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from Kleo's interface or APIs beyond normal use of the service
- Impersonate others: do not use Kleo to impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations you do not represent
- Distribute malware: do not use Kleo to distribute malicious links, phishing content, or malware
AI-Generated Content
Kleo uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to help you generate social media posts. Important things to understand about AI-generated content:
- Review before publishing: all AI-generated posts are presented as drafts. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving every post before it is published to your social media accounts.
- No liability for AI content: Kleo is not liable for any consequences arising from AI-generated content that you choose to publish. This includes factual inaccuracies, unintended interpretations, or content that may violate platform guidelines.
- Content ownership: you own the content you create and publish through Kleo, including content generated with AI assistance.
Daily Limits
- AI-generated posts: 30 per day per account. This limit resets at midnight UTC.
- Manual posts: unlimited. You can create and schedule as many manually written posts as you want.
- Platform-specific limits: individual social media platforms enforce their own rate limits and posting restrictions. Kleo respects these limits, and you may encounter platform-imposed throttling independent of Kleo's limits.
API and Platform Compliance
When you connect social media accounts to Kleo, your usage is subject to the terms of service of each platform:
- X/Twitter Terms of Service
- LinkedIn User Agreement
- Meta/Threads Terms of Use
- Bluesky Terms of Service
You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service, community guidelines, and content policies. Kleo is not responsible for account suspensions, bans, or other actions taken by social media platforms against your accounts.
Intellectual Property
- Your content: you retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate through Kleo. By using the service, you grant Kleo a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.
- Our platform: Kleo owns the platform, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Kleo platform.
Account Termination
By us: we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in ways that harm other users or the platform. We will attempt to provide notice before termination except in cases of severe or repeated violations.
By you: you can cancel your subscription and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your service continues until the end of your current billing period. Account deletion is permanent and results in the removal of all your data, posts, and configuration.
Limitation of Liability
Kleo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Social media APIs can experience downtime, rate limiting, or changes that are outside our control.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for content published to your social media accounts, whether created manually or with AI assistance.
- We are not liable for any actions taken by social media platforms against your accounts.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements, that AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate, or that third-party platform integrations will always be available.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users by email and/or through the Kleo app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Kleo after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Kleo will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.
